Dr. Fenwa Milhouse is a board-certified, fellowship-trained urologist specializing in female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery, also known as urogynecology. Born in Nigeria, Dr. Milhouse immigrated to the United States with her family as a young child and grew up in Texas. She earned her medical degree from the University of Texas at Houston, where she first became interested in urology. She completed her urology residency at the University of Chicago, followed by a fellowship in female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery. Dr. Milhouse practices in the Chicago area as a pelvic floor surgeon, sexual medicine and menopause specialist. She uses social media to provide information about urology, reduce stigma around pelvic floor and sexual health conditions, and promote greater representation within the field. She is the current President of the Chicago Urological Society.
